My Supports:

My Computer- I use my computer for various reasons

• to pay bills
• maintain all balances on my accounts
• to check my emails-stay in communication with my daughter's teachers, to see what bills have been paid, to communicate with my daughter's coaches, etc.
• to do all of my school work
• to lesson plan for work, get new ideas for my curriculum
• make Dr./Dentist appts for my family
• Last year I did all of my Christmas Shopping online

Benefits of Support:

I stay organized, in my personal life, school, and work. I 'm able to basically work from home(besides being in the class for 4 hours) and go to school at home. Which allows me to spend more time with my family. It gives me a flexible schedule.

Difficulties without Support:

I would not be able to be organized, my life would be chaotic, and I would not be able to be at home with my family. Miss out volunteering in my daughter's classes, would not be able to attend my daughter's extra-curricular activities, miss out on a lot of family time.

I'd have to say that my husband is and always has been the most supportive of my career and me furthering my education. He picks up slack with my children, helps around the house and transports them when possible.
