My favorite story

Here one of my favorite Books, No,David!!!!!!!!
By David Shannon

I absolutely love reading this to my class, for the first time I read it exactly the way it's written, after that I include my different students names. My students love to hear their names. Being that this is such a versatile book there are many activites that can be included in lesson planning.

I have included a few websites that have many actvites that can be included in lesson-planning. There are many ideas and resources to choose from. Some of these websites are for grades 1 and 2, but I know as preschool teachers we will be able to make similar activites to meet our students.

  1. I love "No David." It uses a simple words that are easily understood by a young child. Also, the vivid pictures can show a non-reader what the story is all about. It's great to replace "David" with children's names that you are reading to. It helps to personalize the story for them. Excellent book! Thank you for also sharing the resources on how to help integrate the book into the classroom better.
